How difficult is it to say no to people who in a way matter but are not really the life savers type?? Horribly difficult!! I'm Hopeless at saying NO. What happens when you do say no?? When You see the other person having suddenly changed to a sweet adorable puppy?? NOOOOOO .You end up saying YES.
What happens when You say YES?? Gosh, Traumatic. and once you are in, there is no getting out of it.. WHY? cos you are this sweet , this adorable frnd who'd do anything for her frnds... :P With all the trauma, the rest rolls in- the fake smiles, the rolling of eyes, the teeth bitting.... hehehe i love watching ppl in such a state.. some losers whom i know.
Ahem, i am one of those losers... :D confessions of a losers mind..ya i cant say no. very difficult. One of my frnds recently came up to me and said " Array mera ye kaam zara kar dena.. " and gave me that wonderful smile of hers.. What happened? Loser fell. I said "YA bolna,..".. And she gave me list . UFFFF.. i thought oops, i fell a little faster. should have thought about it a little and agreed.
After she got back i was in deep trouble. Well you see, though i am good at doing other peoples' work, they are never happy! she got back and said" Array kabhi, tune ye kya kiya!!! isko aishe korna tha na..." ( u might have guessed whom i am taking about or atleast guessed which part of India is the person in mention from.)
After she announces how wrongly i had done something, she waits for a second and rethinks what she says ans sees ppl surrounding her know i had done the job when she was busy holidaying with family. so she says a few kind words.. ( " tere bina to kuuuch bhi nahi hota... DhonyavaaD!) and the like..
During all that, all i want to do is just yank her by her hair and remind her that i had my job to be done too, that too the same deadline! Plus i want her to rewind her shower of accusations and justify herself for selecting me in the first place! dont i get that much credit to be selected to do the job?? ( My evil side!! :D)
Coming back... difficult to say no.. there was a song from Shaan the singer.."kyu ki mujhe na kehna nahi ata.." suits!
There should be coaching given to train ppl. To say no ofcourse!!!
My advice to losers?? first step on the way of being a non-loser= say NO.
